Stainless Steel 347/347H Welded Tubing is an austenitic steel alloy that contains 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and 0.45% niobium, adding strength to withstand intergranular corrosion. The 347H variation, having a higher carbon concentration, enables increased creep strength and thermal stability. The tube provides a tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, making it ideal for high-temperature, high-stress applications. Its high weldability, in addition to resistance to carbide precipitation, guarantees stability in weldments like heat exchangers, boilers, and pressure vessels exposed to harsh conditions.
