Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Pipes are precipitation-hardening alloys consisting mainly of 15–17.5% chromium, 6–7.5% nickel, and 0.9–1.5% aluminum, with the remainder iron. This composition provides high strength, good fatigue resistance, and moderate corrosion resistance. The alloy can be heat treated to achieve different levels of hardness, offering tensile strength up to 130 ksi and yield strength up to 110 ksi. It also exhibits good ductility, stress corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability in thermal cycling, which makes it suitable for precision components and high-temperature structural applications.
