Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of at least 415 MPa, yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and elongation of at least 30%. T2 tubing is engineered to perform reliably in continuous service temperatures reaching up to 600°C (1112°F). It is usually supplied in a normalized and tempered or cold-drawn state to boost durability in challenging service conditions.
