Aluminium 1100 Tubing is made from commercially pure aluminium, containing at least 99% aluminium along with small amounts of copper (0.05-0.20%), iron (up to 0.95%), silicon (up to 0.95%), and zinc (up to 0.10%). This alloy boasts excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, and remarkable forming capabilities. Its mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of 90 MPa, a yield strength of at least 34 MPa, and an elongation of 35% minimum, making it highly workable. With a density of 2.71 g/cm³ and a melting point of 643°C, it’s perfect for applications that require low strength and high corrosion resistance.
