Duplex Steel EFW Pipes feature a well-balanced microstructure of austenite and ferrite, typically containing 22–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 3–3.5% molybdenum, and trace amounts of nitrogen. This unique composition provides impressive mechanical strength, with tensile strength ranging from 620 to 850 MPa and yield strength around 450 MPa. The material is known for its exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. By combining the strength of ferritic steels with the corrosion resistance of austenitic steels, Duplex EFW pipes prove to be highly dependable in aggressive and high-pressure environments.
