Duplex Steel Welded Pipes consist mainly of 22% chromium, 5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum with low carbon levels to improve corrosion resistance. It provides a balanced combination of austenitic and ferritic structures, leading to superior mechanical strength and corrosion protection. The pipes exhibit tensile strengths ranging between 620–900 MPa, yield strength between 450–620 MPa, and elongation of around 25%. The major benefits are the ability to resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking, and excellent weldability along with excellent performance in severe, corrosive conditions.
