Mechanical performance in the cold-drawn, normalized (+N/NBK) condition shows tensile strengths of 480 MPa for E235 and 640 MPa for E355, with elongation rates of approximately 6% and 4%, respectively. The EN 10305‑4 (domestic over mandrel) guarantees minimum yield strengths for smaller sizes and an impact toughness of at least 27 J at 0 °C. Additionally, EN 10305‑4 includes flaring, sealing, and hydraulic-pressure testing, with tighter tolerances and surface quality compared to EN 10305‑1.
