Hastelloy ERW Pipes are constructed from a high-performance nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, usually alloyed with tungsten to increase corrosion resistance. Their structure typically contains 50–70% nickel, 15–30% molybdenum, and 14–20% chromium, providing exceptional protection from oxidation, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. These pipes have high tensile strength, excellent durability, and superior resistance to crevice corrosion. Mechanically, they work superbly under extreme pressure and temperature.
