Its typical makeup consists of about 38–46% nickel, 19.5–23.5% chromium, 2.5–3.5% molybdenum, 1.5–3% copper, and the rest being iron. This alloy is known for its outstanding resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, as well as stress-corrosion cracking and pitting. On the mechanical side, Incoloy 825 tubing boasts a tensile strength of roughly 85 ksi (586 MPa) and a yield strength of 35 ksi (241 MPa), along with impressive elongation and impact resistance.
