This special blend gives Monel its remarkable resistance to seawater and chemical corrosion. In terms of mechanical properties, they boast a minimum tensile strength of 550 MPa, a yield strength of at least 240 MPa, and an elongation of 35% minimum. Monel alloys retain their strength and toughness across a wide temperature range, performing exceptionally well in both cryogenic and high-temperature settings. With a density of about 8.80 g/cm³, they are built to last in demanding applications.
