Monel Seamless Tubing consists mainly of nickel (at least 63%) and copper (maximum 29%), with minor amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. Such a special combination of elements provides outstanding resistance to corrosive atmospheres, such as acidic and alkaline media. It has a tensile strength of 70–90 ksi, yield strength of 30–40 ksi, and good ductility mechanically, but is well suited for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. The tubing also exhibits excellent thermal conductivity and greater resistance to stress corrosion cracking, improving its reliability and long-term performance under harsh industrial environments.
