Nickel Alloy 201 Tubing is made up of at least 99.6% pure nickel, with a low carbon content (no more than 0.02%) to reduce the risk of graphitization at high temperatures. It also contains trace amounts of iron, copper, manganese, and silicon. The mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of about 380 MPa, a yield strength of around 105 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 45%, which ensures excellent ductility and toughness. Nickel 201 is known for its outstanding corrosion resistance in caustic environments and retains its mechanical integrity even at temperatures up to 600°C. Additionally, it is non-magnetic, highly thermally conductive, and shows great resistance to stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement.
