Stainless Steel 304H Instrumentation Tubing consists of 18% chromium, 8% nickel, and minute levels of carbon, manganese, silicon, and iron. It has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The increased carbon content in 304H enhances mechanical strength and creep resistance at higher temperatures. The tubing also offers superior corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and weldability and is, therefore, well-suited for severe operating conditions in a range of critical applications where performance under pressure and temperature is critical.
