Stainless Steel 310/310S Electropolished Pipes are made up of around 25% chromium and 20% nickel, which provides excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, particularly at high temperatures. Grade 310S contains less carbon content (≤ 0.08%), enhancing weldability and minimizing the risk of carbide precipitation. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of ~515 MPa, yield strength of ~205 MPa, and superior resistance to thermal fatigue. Electropolishing improves the surface by eliminating imperfections, enhancing cleanability, and decreasing contamination risks, making these pipes suitable for hygienic and high-temperature systems.
