The Stainless Steel 316 and 316L ERW Pipes consist mainly of iron, 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which offers superior resistance to chlorides, acids, and pitting corrosion. Grade 316L has reduced carbon content, increasing weldability and reducing carbide precipitation. The pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 70,000 psi, yield strength of 30,000 psi, and elongation of 40%, rendering them suitable for high temperature and high pressure operations.
