Stainless Steel 316 and 316L Welded Pipes are composed of roughly 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which significantly boosts their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The 316L variant features a carbon content of ≤0.03%, which helps prevent carbide precipitation during welding. Both grades boast a tensile strength ranging from 515–690 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. They maintain excellent ductility and toughness across a broad temperature spectrum. These pipes are non-magnetic when annealed, offering great formability and weldability while preserving their structural integrity in corrosive or marine environments.
