Stainless Steel 316L Pipes are largely composed of iron and contain major alloying components such as 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and up to 0.03% carbon. This low-carbon form has great weldability and better corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and chloride-rich environments. It also has a tensile strength of ~485 MPa, yield strength of ~170 MPa, and elongation of at least 40%. The 316L type also has great mechanical integrity under intense pressures and temperatures and pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, making it perfect for critical and high-performance applications
