Stainless Steel 316Ti Tubing is made up of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.5% titanium, which enhances stabilization and helps prevent carbide precipitation during welding or prolonged heat exposure. This material boasts excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation, particularly in chloride-rich and acidic environments. Its typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of at least 515 MPa, yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and an elongation of at least 35%. The tubing can handle service temperatures up to 870°C (1600°F) and is available in solution-annealed, pickled, or bright annealed conditions, depending on the specific application needs.
