Stainless Steel 317/317L Seamless Tubing is made of iron, with 18–20% chromium, 11–14% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, providing superior resistance against corrosion caused by chloride. 317L, with its low carbon content, offers improved weldability and minimizes carbide precipitation risk. Mechanical properties are a tensile strength of ~515 MPa and yield strength of ~205 MPa, offering structural resistance to pressure. With excellent pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical attack resistance, the tubing is manufactured for aggressive service requiring both strength and stability under highly corrosive conditions.
