Stainless Steel 317 and 317L Welded Pipes are primarily made of chromium (18-20%), nickel (11-15%), molybdenum (3-4%), and low carbon in 317L Some of their mechanical properties are 515 MPa tensile strength, . 205 MPa yield strength, good elongation (40%) included. This pipe offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride environments, due to its high molybdenum content. The low carbon content (317L) prevents carbide precipitation during welding, increases resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion, and makes it ideal for severe applications.
