321/321H Welded Stainless Steel Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy containing 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and 0.5–1.0% titanium. Titanium increases the resistance of the alloy to intergranular corrosion by stabilizing it against carbide precipitation due to welding and exposure to high temperatures. Type 321H, containing more carbon, has better creep strength. The tensile strength of the tubing is 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, with outstanding oxidation resistance, weldability, and thermal stability, making it a good fit for handling heat-intensive industrial uses.
