347/347H EFW Stainless Steel Pipes are constructed from a chromium-nickel austenitic alloy containing around 18% chromium, 9% nickel, and niobium (columbium) to resist intergranular corrosion. The 347H version is enriched with higher carbon content, providing better high-temperature strength and creep resistance. These pipes have a tensile strength of 75,000 psi (517 MPa) and a yield strength of 30,000 psi (207 MPa). Excellent weldability, oxidation resistance, and durability feature these pipes with special uses in high-pressure and temperature conditions like boilers, heat exchangers, and industrial piping systems.
