Stainless Steel 347/347H Tubing is composed of 17–20% chromium and 9–13% nickel, with columbium (niobium) added for stabilization, and a carbon content of up to 0.10% in 347H. This unique blend enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion while boosting mechanical strength at high temperatures. The welded tubes deliver a tensile strength of ≥515 MPa, yield strength of ≥205 MPa, elongation of ≥35%, and a Brinell hardness of around 200 HB. These characteristics make 347/347H tubing ideal for welded environments, high-pressure systems, and cyclic thermal service in corrosive and oxidizing conditions.
