Stainless Steel 904L EFW Pipes consist of 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, and 1–2% copper. This unique chemical makeup boosts their resistance to strong reducing acids like sulfuric acid and offers excellent protection against pitting and crevice corrosion. These pipes showcase impressive tensile strength (490–710 MPa), yield strength (220–280 MPa), along with good ductility and weldability. The EFW manufacturing process enables the production of large-diameter pipes with uniform wall thickness, making them perfect for low to moderate pressure applications where high corrosion resistance is essential. SS 904L also stands strong against stress corrosion cracking and scaling at elevated temperatures.
