Super Duplex Steel EFW Pipes are generally made up of approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and the addition of nitrogen and manganese. This composition of alloy exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, as well as stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, these pipes have a high tensile strength of about 750 MPa and a yield strength of about 550 MPa. The electric fusion welding process provides excellent weld integrity and performance for stringent applications. The microstructure of ferrite and austenite phases helps to show excellent strength, toughness, and resistance to corrosion in high temperature and high pressure conditions.
