Super Duplex Steel ERW Pipes are fabricated using a well-balanced alloy of around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, along with nitrogen and manganese for better performance. This material guarantees high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. These pipes have an approximate tensile strength of 750 MPa and a yield strength of about 550 MPa. Electric resistance welding gives rise to a strong longitudinal weld, appropriate for medium to high-pressure applications. The dual-phase (ferritic-austenitic) microstructure ensures superior mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance in aggressive industrial conditions.
