Super Duplex Steel Tubing generally comprises around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, nitrogen, and trace elements, which together provide outstanding corrosion resistance. Its dual-phase microstructure ensures excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, with PREN values exceeding 40. The mechanical properties are impressive, featuring a high tensile strength of about 800 MPa and a yield strength close to 550 MPa—nearly double that of standard austenitic stainless steels. This material also boasts good impact toughness, fatigue resistance, and weldability, making Super Duplex Tubing perfect for high-pressure, chloride-rich, and corrosive settings.
