Super Duplex Steel Welded Pipes generally contain around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and minute quantities of nitrogen and manganese, providing stronger corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. These pipes have a high tensile strength of approximately 750 MPa and yield strength close to 550 MPa. They have good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Their toughness and strength are due to their two-phase microstructure of austenite and ferrite. Although they are welded, they retain structural integrity under high temperature and pressure, rendering them appropriate for harsh service conditions.
