Titanium EFW Pipes are generally produced from commercially pure titanium (Grades 1–4) or titanium alloys like Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), having 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. These pipes have excellent mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength ranging from 344 MPa to 895 MPa and yield strength ranging from 275 MPa to 828 MPa based on grade. They show high elongation from 15% to 30% and therefore are very formable and resistant to fatigue. Titanium EFW Pipes are light in weight, resistant to corrosion, and can perform under harsh operating conditions in industrial processes.
