Titanium Grade 2 Pipes contain mainly titanium with minor amounts of iron, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. The general composition is 99.2% titanium, 0.3% iron, with trace elements. They are mechanically strong and ductile, with a tensile strength of around 344 MPa and yield strength of about 275 MPa. They have high corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidizing conditions, and maintain strength even at high temperatures. Their low weight and good weldability make them suitable for many demanding uses needing a combination of strength and corrosion resistance.
