Titanium Grade 2 Tubing consists mainly of 99.2% titanium with small amounts of iron (0.3%), oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. It has great mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of approximately 344 MPa and yield strength of about 275 MPa. It is light in weight, very ductile, and possesses good weldability and formability. It has better corrosion resistance in oxidizing and chloride environments, which makes it suitable for applications that are critical in nature. Titanium Gr 2 tubing is also quite good at performance at moderate temperatures, with long-term reliability in industrial and medical settings.
