Titanium Mechanical Tubing is usually produced from commercially pure titanium (Grades 1–4) or titanium alloys such as Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It has stunning mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 344 MPa to 895 MPa and yield strength of 275 MPa to 828 MPa. Elongation of 15% to 30% makes the tubing have superior formability and fatigue life. The lightweight quality of titanium, coupled with its corrosion resistance and high strength-to-weight ratio, qualifies it for structural and mechanical use in adverse environments.
